IMET.
Radio control
engineered in-house.

An Italian company specialising in industrial radio remote control systems. Founded in 1988 by brothers Evio and Angelo Cadorin in Sacile, northeastern Italy.

From electronics
to the complete system.

IMET equipment is designed and assembled at the company’s own facility in Sacile.

Production includes intermediate checks and final testing. The company develops systems with machine manufacturers and integrators, supplementing standard products with versions for specific equipment.

IMET has in-house laboratories and an anechoic test chamber. Its internal laboratory holds PJLA accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for electromagnetic compatibility testing. The quality management system has been ISO 9001 certified since 1998.

More than an enclosure and buttons.

In-house joysticks

In 1999 IMET introduced joysticks with optical sensing. In applicable current models, optical sensing eliminates moving electrical contacts. Single- and dual-axis versions are available for stepped or continuously proportional control.

A panel for the machine

IMET machines enclosures and produces panel graphics in-house. Control layout and labels can be adapted to machine functions, particularly when standard command sets do not match the workflow.

Durability testing

The manufacturer describes tests for water and dust ingress, climatic ageing, ultraviolet exposure and salt spray. Protection ratings and operating conditions apply to individual products, rather than the brand as a whole.

Key milestones.

1988
IMET founded. First TEL09 and IRC20 radio controls, including proprietary radio modules.
2003
M550 series: WAVE, ZEUS and THOR transmitters, receivers, feedback and CAN options.
2016
M880 launched with WAVE2, ZEUS2, THOR2 and other models. Previous and new generation names are not interchangeable.
2019–2021
Introduction of compact ZED and specialised AXT for forestry winches.
2025
New ZEUS3 and THOR3. Expanded display range and accreditation of the internal test laboratory.

A system is more
than a transmitter.

The transmitter defines how the operator interacts with the machine. The receiver determines how these commands reach the control system.

The IMET range includes push-button and joystick transmitters, receivers and machine status indication options. Applications include lifting equipment, construction machinery, forestry and industrial automation.

For Ukrainian customers, GM Industrya handles selection and supply: panel functions, receiver, connections and package contents are documented in the specification.
